WE ARE AN ARCHITECTURE STUDIO THAT IS IN CHARGE OF MATERIALIZING THE DREAMS OF OUR CLIENTS.
We are Jordi Nubiola and Queralt Uix, a couple who are passionate about designing and creating beautiful and functional spaces to improve people's lives. We live a large part of our lives in built spaces, for this reason we consider that architecture plays a very important role in people's lives to achieve well-being and health. We met in our architecture studies at the Polytechnic University of Barcelona (ETSAB) and since then we have always gone hand in hand to create and design new projects until we also undertook our family project.

Queralt Uix studied at the ETSAB (Polytechnic School of Architecture of Barcelona) and at ENSA- PB (École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-Bellville). After finishing his architecture studies, he worked in offices of different sizes where he learned the organization and management of small to large-scale projects. Collaborated on single-family and multi-family housing projects. He also collaborated in Patrick Genard's studio where he learned teamwork and collaborated in interior design in the hotel field where he discovered a great passion for interior architecture. His persevering, creative and fighting character led him to carry out projects on his own and create the QART Studio. His main contribution to the studio is design, always committed to the search for beautiful, simple and functional spaces that provide well-being for the individual and/or society.

Jordi Nubiola studied at the ETSAB (Barcelona Polytechnic School of Architecture) and the Milan Polytechnic. During his studies he started a business and founded the lighting company Thinklight SL which led to the manufacturing of luminaires under the Insolit trademark with the specialization of custom manufacturing for prescribers. His career in the company on large-scale projects such as the Sagrada Familia or the Hyatt Regency or collaborations with architectural studios such as Wilmotte et Associés in Paris or GCA have given him impeccable knowledge of industrial design and a comprehensive approach to how It is integrated into the architecture. His constant link with work and architecture and his passion for design and light have led him to carry out architectural projects with a special character with his own manufacturing and production of elements such as gutters, benches, tables, planters, fences, etc. His entrepreneurial nature and his passion for the profession have led him to create QART Studio.

We accompany, analyze, design, and develop renovation and construction projects alongside families of all kinds who aspire to live in a beautiful and healthy home in a simple and efficient way.
We provide guidance throughout this initial stage to ensure that the purchase is carried out with complete technical and legal guarantees, all at no cost. For QART Studio, this is a way to establish a relationship of trust with our future clients and ensure the project's feasibility, preventing any setbacks.
Our projects aim to achieve maximum comfort, quality of life, and well-being for people.
We begin with an initial meeting to gather the client’s needs and desires, as well as the technical and urban planning requirements of the land, in order to develop a preliminary design with a budget and timeline for both the project and construction.
Depending on the size and legal requirements of the project, we prepare the appropriate technical design. We submit the project to the relevant local authority to obtain the building permit, after having conducted all necessary consultations and meetings to ensure compliance with urban planning regulations for both the project and the future construction.
We prepare the measurements rigorously, allowing contractors to obtain the most detailed budget possible to minimize cost deviations. We assist you throughout the process of comparing contractors' proposals, reviewing them, and negotiating the terms.
In our studio, we offer the QART Turnkey service, where we take care of the entire project management, direction, and construction, as well as cost optimization, material coordination, and coordination of contractors. In this way, the client can choose to delegate the entire construction process.
Comprehensive support and thorough project control are essential to ensuring its success. Based on a solid foundation in the construction bidding process, we follow a strict schedule and conduct detailed weekly oversight by our team.
